Though she has a very youthful beauty for her age, the strain of being a single, hardworking mother has finally began to catch up with her and show on her face. Brief Description of Personality: Julia is overly stressed and a little bit controlling. She’s has a short temper and makes an unexpected leap from hot to cold in a matter of a few seconds. She’s impulsive and can make rash decisions in the heat of the moment. Overall, she’s a mom that does her best to take care of all her children, fully admitting her short comings.

Back Story:

Married Michael Foster when she was 25, and gave birth to her first child three years later. Their marriage was successful for the first decade or so, then problems began to manifest. In an attempt to rekindle their love life, and possibly even save her marriage, Julia brought in another woman to their bedroom. At first this seemed as if it might help, but eventually their problems only got worse, Michael continuing to see said woman and pursue a relationship with her. In one last effort to save their marriage, Julia suggested they adopt a child, as they had not had any children of their own for over a decade. Michael agreed, not believing it would actually help, but willing to try for his sons and the small amount of love he still felt towards Julia. They adopted Annabel Lee soon after, but quickly realized that this had not been the solution at all, and filed for divorce a few months later. When the divorce did finally occur, they decided to keep the affair and related events secret from the children.

Most of her hopes were banked on the success of her oldest son who seemed to be striving towards a genuine career, or at least graduating college. She adored him because he was the spitting image of her generally successful husband, her golden boy. She both rode him obsessively to finish his education and doted on him. Her second son proved to be more of a trial, exhibiting psychological disorders from an early age, he decided he hated her at the age of eleven. Things were never the same again. Since then her patience has been worn thin by constantly meeting with principles, police, and even once in Court. Now she’s done with his constant acting out and lets him get away with hell. Since her divorce she’s been looking for work and saw a job opening add in the paper, leading her and her family up to take a look at the hotel.

In the interview she was warned about the hotel’s sordid past, but stated that she would have help with the upkeep since she was bringing along both her sons and a niece. She as given a tour and signed the paperwork.
